(Smith County Insider Press) – Although we may not have quite as many eating establishments as we might like in Smith County, we all have our favorites among the few. All eating establishments in Tennessee are subject to operate within the Tennessee Department of Health Standards. These standards include things such as cleanliness, maintaining appropriate facilities, and storing food at the correct temperatures. Health inspectors are sent out by the state at different times throughout the year to monitor these standards and ensure that all measures are being taken to serve the community the highest quality of food and service. Below is listed the majority of the eating establishments in the county. Included is the name of the establishment, the most current score that was given, and the date the score was posted.
