Showers Ending, More Showers Possible in AM

April 21, 2016

Thursday, April 21, 2016 — 7:06 pm

This Evening — Showers ending. Temperatures in the 60s. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

We’ve seen scattered showers during the mid to late afternoon hours today. They look to be out of here by the time it gets dark.

HRRR loop through 7 am, Friday:

HRRR shows another round of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm possible around the time of our morning commute tomorrow. Once they move through, the rest of our Friday looks to be dry.

Friday — AM showers possible. Mostly cloudy through the afternoon. Wake up: 58°, High: 74°. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph, becoming NW.

Other than the morning shower chance, Friday is setting up to be a pretty nice day, weather-wise — albeit with more clouds than sun. Evening outdoor activities will be good to go.

We have another fantastic weekend ahead, with sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s and low 80s, Saturday and Sunday, respectively!

For those participating in the Smith County High School Band’s 5k/10k Color Run Saturday morning, conditions for the race couldn’t be any better!

The Smith County Weather guy will also be there, too!

Fortunately for him, he’ll be in the Smith County Weather booth.
