A strong cold front moved through our area yesterday, sending temperatures tumbling downward. Some of you probably wore a jacket this morning for the first time in several days — almost unheard of for late December.
This Afternoon — Mostly cloudy. Cooler. High: 54°. Winds SW at 5 mph.
We’ll only manage to rise into the mid 50s this afternoon, which is a far cry from the low to mid 70s we’ve been enjoying. However, mid 50s are still several degrees above average. Don’t worry, though. Our temperatures aren’t done falling!
Wednesday — Rain returns in the morning, clearing out in the afternoon. Wake up: 43°, Afternoon high: 55°. Winds WSW at 5 mph.
NAM — 6 AM Wednesday:
A disturbance moving through early tomorrow morning could give us some widely scattered showers through early tomorrow afternoon. Once the showers pass, colder and drier air will settle in.
An area of high pressure will take control of our weather for at least the next week, finally ushering in the cold weather that we’ve all been waiting for, just in time for the new year!
