We generally try to avoid posting updates here on Sundays unless something about the upcoming forecast warrants it, but due to a bug in the website’s software, we’ve been unable to post anything the last few days, so this post is simply to bring everything back up to date. Apologies for any inconveniences.
HRRR loop through 7 AM, Monday:
After an on and off wet Sunday afternoon, scattered showers will gradually die off as we head through the rest of the evening.
Patchy fog will be possible after midnight, so watch out.
Monday — Mostly cloudy. Cooler. Wake up: 45°, High: 55°. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph.
Tomorrow will be about 10° cooler than we were this weekend, with a high near our seasonable average in the mid 50s thanks to winds shifting from back toward the North. We do look to remain dry throughout the day, however.
NAM 4km — 3 Am, Tuesday:
More showers will be possible overnight Monday into Tuesday morning.
The bulk of our Tuesday appears to be dry before another round of heavy showers and perhaps thunderstorms approaches from the SW during the evening.
NAM 4km — 6PM, Tuesday:
Showers and thunderstorms will be likely throughout the day on Wednesday. Severe weather doesn’t appear to be a concern at this time. However…
GFS — Wednesday Night/Thursday Morning:
Enough cold air could be pulled in from the North before the precipitation exits our area late Wednesday night/Thursday morning that the rain *could* transition over to snow for a little bit. We aren’t, however, looking at accumulations. The ground will be far too warm, and even the air temperature looks to be right at freezing at its coldest point Thursday morning. Neither of those factors favor accumulation.
Below average temperatures will return for the end of our week.
