This Afternoon — Cold-ish. Mostly cloudy. High: 61° (maybe…). Winds NNW at 15 to 20 mph.
Some areas in the county saw some light shower activity this morning, but that has since drifted to the south and dissipated. Clouds may try to thin out some as we go through the remainder of the day, and how much our temperatures rise will be greatly tied to that. We’ve been stuck in the lower 50s, but if enough sunshine makes it through the clouds, there’s a chance we could cross the 60 degree mark before sundown. Regardless, a stiff breeze out of the NNW will make it feel much cooler, so a light jacket or hoodie will likely be needed if you plan on spending any length of time outdoors, especially if you have a ball game to attend this evening.
Temperatures will fall into the mid 40s by tomorrow morning, so once again, the kiddos will need a jacket on at the bus stop.
Friday — Much warmer! Sunny. Wake up: 46°, High: 74°. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Winds tomorrow will still be out of the NNW, but they won’t be quite as strong — and with a plethora of sunshine, we’ll still see our temperatures increase quite a bit during the day, all the way up into the mid 70s!
With mainly clear skies, temperatures will be able to fall rather quickly during the evening, into the mid to upper 50s by 9 PM, so you will still probably want a jacket at the ball park.
For the Jordan Hackett Foundation’s Race for Jordan Saturday morning, you couldn’t ask for better weather!
Temperatures will start off a bit on the cool side as you arrive at the Cordell Hull Dam, but we’ll quickly warm up to near 70° by the end of the race!
As far as the rest of the day is concerned, our high looks to top out in the mid 80s! That’s certainly a far cry from today’s upper 50s/lower 60s!
Sunday is looking similar.
