Thursday, December 24th (Christmas Eve), 2015 — 1:53 PM
This is a quick update in between Christmas gatherings, so graphics and text are at a minimum.
This Afternoon — Mostly Sunny. Warm. High: 71°. Winds E at 5 mph, becoming S.
After a rough evening on Wednesday with a likely tornado touchdown in the Lancaster area (details on that will be coming as they become available), we’re getting a break from it on our Christmas Eve.
Rain will return tomorrow morning as the cold front that moved through last night moves back up as a warm front.
Christmas Day — Showers and thunderstorms likely. Wake up: 59°, Afternoon high: 70°. Winds SSE at 5 mph.
The Storm Prediction Center once again has us in a risk area for severe storms tomorrow, this time just a Marginal Risk, or a 1 out of 5. Not expecting anything like what we had on Wednesday, but a storm could become strong with gusty winds.
