Breezy and Cold

January 12, 2016

Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 — 11:27 AM

This Afternoon — More clouds than sun. Windy. High: 42°. Winds W at 5 to 15 mph.

A good breeze out of the west is making it feel even colder outside than it actually is. Despite temperatures around 40°, the ‘feels like’ temperature, or wind chill, is in the mid 30s. Brrrr.

Winds will gradually calm down as we go through the evening. Clouds will also decrease in coverage, allowing for temperatures to plummet down into the upper teens over night.

Wednesday — Cold start. Sunny. Wake up: 17°, Afternoon high: 40°. Winds SW at 5 mph.

Winds will begin to kick up from out of the South as we head into Thursday, allowing our high to warm up into the lower 50s.

A system moving through late in the week will give us a chance for rain Friday afternoon and evening, perhaps ending as a light rain/snow mix early on Saturday. It’s still too early to give any specifics, but right now it doesn’t look to be anything worth concerning ourselves with. We’ll keep you posted.
