Mrs. Judy Horton, age 70 of South Carthage, died Sunday afternoon, April 3 at her home. She is survived by: husband Tony Horton; children, Jonathan Duncan and wife Elizabeth of Sevierville, Hollie Crawford and husband Jeremy of South Carthage; siblings, Roy Knight Jr and wife Lois of South Carthage, Charles Knight and wife Shirley of Chattanooga, Linda Tyree of Tanglewood, Sandra Wilkerson and husband Charles of Lafayette, Sarah Wix of South Carthage; 9 grandchildren, Averell Duncan, Emily Duncan, McKinley Duncan, Elijah Duncan, Gabriel Duncan, Benjamin Duncan, Nathan Duncan, Caleb Crawford, Reece Crawford; ; 3 great-grandchildren, Kinzley Duncan, Briggs Duncan, Lila Duncan.
Mrs. Horton is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, April 6 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Scott Ezell and Bro. Garry Wix will officiate. Interment in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Carthage. Serving as pallbearers are: Isaac Wix, Cody Tyree, Elon Wilkerson, Justin Nokes, Mark Tyree, Kyle West.
Visitation begins on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Carthage Church of the Nazarene.
