Mr. Randy Dennis, age 67 of Carthage, died Saturday morning, April 2 at Smith County Health and Rehab. He is survived by: wife, Melinda Dennis; sons, Timothy Dennis and wife Leisha of Cookeville, Jeremy Dennis and wife Tara of Tanglewood; siblings, Sammy Dennis and wife Joan of South Carthage, Jimmy Dennis and wife Beverly of Tanglewood, Linda Mikel of Carthage, Billy Dennis and Kellie Kendall of Carthage, Donnie Dennis of Carthage, Ronnie Dennis and wife Lila of Carthage; 2 grandchildren, Adalyn Dennis and Samuel Dennis.
Mr. Dennis is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, April 5 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Kevin Slayton and Eld. Rickey Hall will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens in Carthage. Serving as pallbearers are: Ronnie Carver, Darrell Chaffin, Spencer Huffines, Matt White, Charlie Carter, Steve Hopper; honorary pallbearers, Carthage City Fire Department, Smith County Central District Fire Department.
Visitation will begin on Monday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Carthage City Fire Department.
