Shirley Ann Williams, age 89, (February 11, 1935 – August 26, 2024) passed away on August 26, 2024 at 11:19 PM at Redstone Village in Huntsville, Alabama.
She was held in the arms of her family as the Lord called and received her spirit ushering her into her Heavenly home.
Shirley was a member of The First Baptist Church of Meridianville.
Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Jesse Milliard Williams, and together they have four children; three daughters, the late Sabrina Williams, Ava Williams Malone (Robert Labbe), Debbie Klimek & husband (Jeffrey), Jeff Williams & wife (Malynda).
Nine Grandchildren; the late Shane Farley, Josh Farley, Jacob Cowan, Jesse Cowan, Ryan Klimek, Mitchell Klimek, Nicole Williams, Jeffrey Nicholas Williams, Matthew Williams; and several great grandchildren.
Shirley came from a large family and had nine Siblings. She was preceded in death by her mother, Culin Amelia Brown, and father, Lawrence Taylor Brown; brothers, Bunyon Brown, Lawrence Brown, Burt Brown, and Donald Brown.
She is survived by two sisters; Verbia Letner, and Jane Warfield (Buddy) and several nieces and nephews.
A private visitation and service was held for family members at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on August 28 from 1-3 PM with Bro. James Lee Williams officiating.
Interment followed at Gordonsville Cemetery.
