Robbie Robinson Woodall, of Franklin Tennessee, departed this earthly realm to join her savior Jesus Christ in Heaven on January 19, 2016. She was welcomed home by those who proceeded her in death including her parents, John Frank Robinson and Willie Allean Myers Robinson; her brother, Frank Carol Robinson; her husband, Wilson Phillip Woodall; her son, Martin Phillip Woodall; and her nephew, William Earl Halfacre.
Robbie is survived by her sister, Emma Ruth Robinson; her daughter, Lisa Lee Woodall; her son R. Dane Woodall (Lori) and her two grandsons, Elliott Dane Woodall and Jarrett Edward Woodall; cousins Debra Bugbee Halfacre, Kaitlin Dianne Halfacre. Scott Earl Halfacre (Mary), Robin Jill Halfacre and Todd Robinson Halfacre. Robbie was an educator at heart and those who knew her agree that she was born to teach. Several of her career highlights included being the Director of Alumni Affairs at George Peabody College, National President of DPE, launching the college of business and real estate at Nashville State Technical Institute and teaching accounting at Vanderbilt University.
Robbie was lovingly devoted to her Christian faith, her family, her neighbors, students and friends. She will be dearly missed by all the hearts she touched. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church, 101 Legends Club Lane, Franklin, TN 37069, with visitation at 11:00 am and memorial to follow at noon. Following these events the family will attend her burial at the family cemetery in Elmwood, Tennessee. Pallbearers are Robbie’s son, grandsons and dear friend Jerry Russell.
