Ms. Sue Shoemake Duke, age 82 of the Elmwood Community, died Monday morning, September 23 at her home. She is survived by: daughter, Tina Maggart of Elmwood; son, Mike Maggart of Carthage; 6 grandchildren, Justin Maggart and wife Devan of Carthage, Dustin Angel and wife Sage of Elmwood, Stephanie Duff and husband Kevin of Riddleton, Colby Gann and wife Kaylee of Gainesboro, Kaylee Gann of Elmwood, Izabella Maggart of Carthage; 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon, September 26 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Mike Bennett and Eld. Jerry Driver will officiate. Interment at a later date in the New Macedonia Cemetery in Chestnut Mound.
Visitation on Thursday only from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
