Ms. Rosie Cannon, age 80 of Carthage, died Thursday evening, November 4 at her home. She is survived by: partner, Pamela Gongaware; children, JoAnn Johnson and Daniel Eagleton of Hermitage, Julie Ann Cannon of Carthage, Michael Cannon of Sebastian, FL, 8 grandchildren, Daniel E. Johnson, Johnathan R. Lyda, Michael N. Cannon II, Joseph Testa, James Johnson, Justin Cannon, Bryan Cannon, Jarred Cannon; 23 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Cannon is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Monday afternoon November 7 at 3:00 PM. Bro. Luther Massingale will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Johnathan Lyda, Daniel Johnson, Joseph Testa, James Johnson, Jared Cannon, Johnny Lyda; Honorary pallbearers, Nathan Johnson, Tyler Testa.
Visitation will be on Monday only from 11:00 AM until service time at 3:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society.
