Ms. Peggy Ann Lewis, age 87 of Brush Creek, died Sunday morning, May 26 at Smith County Health and Rehab. She is survived by: son, Scotty Lewis and wife Pam of Elmwood; 5 grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Cooper and husband Tommy of Elmwood, Ryan Lewis of Elmwood, Stephanie McCaleb and husband Jonah of Gordonsville, Samantha Lewis of Elmwood, Seth Lewis of Elmwood; great-grandson, Ben Cooper of Elmwood.
Ms. Lewis is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, May 29 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Wayne Malone will officiate. Bill Bush will present the eulogy. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens in Carthage. Serving as pallbearers are: Ryan Lewis, Seth Lewis, Roger Lewis, Jonah McCaleb, Tommy Cooper, Mike Vescera, Ben Cooper. honorary pallbearers, Smith County Health and Rehab staff and employees Harmony Unit, High Point Health-Riverview staff and employees, Chris Pharris.
Visitation on Wednesday only at Sanderson from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Rome Baptist Church. .
