Ms. Marie Gross, age 87 of Cookeville and formerly of South Carthage, died Friday afternoon, June 2 at Charter Senior Living in Cookeville. She is preceded in death by son, David Gross and survived by: children, Charles Gross of Chestnut Mound, Mary Gross Reed of Cookeville, Shirley Gross Furusho and husband Terry of Sunnyvale, California, Sharon Gross Lohbeck of Morgan Hill, California, Joey Gross and wife Christie of Cookeville; 6 grandchildren, Tyler Furusho, Ryan Furusho, Katelyn Lohbeck, Amber Shoulders and husband Josh, Carlie Gross, Jonathan Turner and wife Brooke; 2 great-grandchildren, Rip Johnston Shoulders, Haddie Jo Shoulders; sisters, Shirley Young of Chestnut Mound, Carolyn Young of Baxter.
Ms. Gross is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, June 6 at 1:00 PM. Interment in the Gross Family Cemetery in Chestnut Mound.
Visitation on Tuesday only from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
