Ms. Katherine Strong
Ms. Katherine Strong, age 84, of Hartsville, died Sunday evening, April 3, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. She is survived by: 7 children, Larry Strong of Nashville, Linda Sue Miller and husband Ray of Benton, Kentucky, Annette Strong and Billy Shrum of Hartsville, Rita Law of Hartsville, Teresa Purvis of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Jimmy Strong and wife Debra of Hartsville, Phillip Strong and wife Norma of Hartsville; ,; sisters, Lizzie Dawes of Gordonsville, Claudean Crawford of Lebanon, Christine Smith of Lebanon,; special grandson, Michael Wayne Strong of Hartsville and 14 other grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Strong is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 6, at 11:00 AM. Edward L. Anderson will officiate. Interment in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Christopher Creasy, Jesse Strong, Daniel Law, Corey Harper, Mitchell Strong and Kevin Strong will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
