Ms. June Angel, age 83 of Gordonsville, died Thursday morning, January 12 at her home. She is survived by: daughter, Treva Angel Bowman of Gordonsville; son, Gaylen Angel of Gordonsville; granddaughter, Shayla Raye Bowman of Gordonsville; great-grandson, Camden Kayne Bowman; sister, Becky McKinney of Elmwood; fur baby, Gizzy.
Ms. Angel is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, January 14 at 1;00 PM. Eld. Anthony Dixon and Eld. Gerald Ragland will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens in Carthage. Serving as pallbearers are: Ricky Scurlock, Cody DeVault, Steve Angel, Milton Gibbs, Paul Montgomery, Sammy Angel.
Visitation will be on Saturday only from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Hogans Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
