Ms. Jeanette Hailey Smith, age 79, of Lock 7, died Tuesday afternoon, October 29, at Highpoint- Riverview Hospital. She is survived by Liane Miller of Graveltown, brother Gary Hailey and wife Wanda of Popes Hill, grandchildren; Brandon Gibbs, Hailey Gibbs, Thomas Gibbs, Terrance Gibbs, Destiny Gibbs, Kasper Smith, great grandchildren Briley Gibbs and Kora-Anne Gibbs.
Ms. Smith is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted Friday afternoon, November 1, at 1:00 PM with Eld. Junior Dickerson officiating.
Pallbearers; James Allen Hailey, Gary Dean Hailey, Tommy Hailey, Terry Hailey, Tommy Oldham, and Joe Clere.
The family will receive friends at Carthage Chapel beginning on Thursday from Noon until 5:00 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM
The family has requested memorials to Plunketts Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
