Ms. Gwendolyn Potts, age 84 of the Smith Branch Community, died Wednesday morning, June 14 at The Palace in Macon County. She is survived by: 5 children, Grady Leon Potts of Dechard, Marie Yvonne Hall and husband Bill of McMinnville, Debra Johnston of Lafayette, Roberta Patterson and husband Ronnie of Manchester, William Joseph “B.J.” Potts and wife Donna of Tullahoma, 2 sisters, Brenda Coker and husband Tom of Dunlap, Sally Hemeter and husband John of St. John, Indiana, brother, Howard Noel and wife Norma of Cedar Lake, Indiana; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Potts is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Monday afternoon, June 19 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Frank Bratcher will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Chad Coppinger, Brian Bruce, Ronnie Patterson, B. J. Potts, Bill Hall, Leon Potts.
Visitation will be on Monday only from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
