Ms. Betty Thompson Johnson, age 55, of Elmwood, died Thursday, July 4, 2019, at her home.
She is survived by: daughters, Jennifer Hensley and husband Clinton of Gordonsville, Rachel Johnson of Dickson; grandchildren, Stella Hensley and Harlan Hensley; siblings, Richard Thompson and wife Melanie of Carthage, Ronnie Thompson and wife Ann of Rome, Shelia Davis and husband Roger of Elmwood, Teresa Williams and husband Hank of Carthage, JoAnn Jennings of Carthage.
Ms. Johnson is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Monday afternoon, July 8, at 1:00 PM. Bro. Jimmy Gregory will officiate. Interment in the Dickens Cemetery in Maggart.
Serving as pallbearers are: Richard Thompson, Ben Thompson, Ronnie Thompson, John Thompson, Joshua Williams, Joseph Thompson, Nate Dixon.
Visitation on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
