Ms. Betty Franklin, age 78, of South Carthage, died Wednesday morning, August 5, at Quality Care in Lebanon. She is survived by: children, Debbie Taylor of Carthage, Joie Franklin and wife Kim of South Carthage; sister, Pauline Turner of Lebanon, VA, 5 grandchildren, Derrick Brooks, Angie Fields and husband Jr , Justin Taylor and fiance’ Tina Thomas, Jay Franklin, Landen Bo Franklin; 6 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Carson, Addison, Madalyn, Jayden, Emma; son-in-law, Wayne Taylor.
Ms. Franklin is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Friday afternoon, August 7 at 1:00 PM. Bro. Bill Smith will officiate. Interment in the Gene Butler Cemetery in Gladdice. Serving as pallbearers are: Justin Taylor, Derrick Brooks, Junior Fields, Billy Pruitt.
Visitation will be on Friday only at the Carthage Chapel from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Gene Butler Cemetery Mowing Fund.
