Ms. Barbara Garrett Dugan, age 70 of Carthage and formerly of Dixon Springs, died Saturday afternoon, September 10 at her home. She is survived by: children, Keri Breann Duke and husband Stephen of South Carthage, Chad Patterson of Nashville; grandchildren, Lance Duke and Kalli Woodard; Fur Babies, Shelby and Michonne.
Ms. Dugan will be cremated at Cumberland Family Services. A Memorial Visitation will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, September 13 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. There will be no formal chapel service. A private interment will be conducted at Smith County Memorial Gardens at a later date.
The family has requested memorials to the Smith County Humane Society.
