Willie Bell Harvey
Mrs. Willie Bell Harvey age 91, of Alexandria, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at her daughter’s home.
Mrs. Harvey was born May 30, 1925 in Alexandria, TN, the daughter of the late Mark Anthony & Etta Emeline Davenport Malone. Mrs. Willie and her late husband Gilbert Harvey were married in 1942. Also preceding her in death, 6 siblings, Corinne Kirby, Athalene McGiness, Birttie Foutch, Albert James Malone, Vester Malone & Johnny Malone. Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church for 72 years. She was a beautician for over 73 years & was the owner & operator of Willie’s Beauty Shop.
Mrs. Harvey is survived by her 2 children, Timothy (Maureen) Harvey of Clarksville, TN & Tamela (Cread) Clifton of Gallatin, TN. 3 grand children, Sara (David) Hill of Memphis, TN, Camille (Trent) Sanders of Knoxville, TN & Kyle Clifton of Gallatin & his fiancé Mallory. 1 great grandchild, Charlotte Hill. Sister-in-law, Ruth Malone of Nashville. Several nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Harvey are scheduled to be conducted from the Chapel of Avant Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2PM with Bro. Kyle Clifton & Bro. John Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillview Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation with the Harvey family will be held at Avant Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12NOON until the time of the service at 2PM.
