Mrs. Velda Whited Carter
Mrs. Velda Whited Carter, age 77, of Madison, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
Mrs. Carter was born August 9, 1939 in Hickman, TN, the daughter of the late John Henry Whited and Flonnie Foster Lynch. She was also preceded in death by Daughter; Shirley Holland, Sisters; Leoda Adams, Geraldine Knudson, Inez Pitt, Elizabeth Greer, and Faye Parker, and Brothers; Sanford Whited, Douglas Whited, and Comer “Butch” Whited.
Mrs. Carter is survived by Two Granddaughters; Misty Edmondson of Pleasant View, TN, and Jessica (Michael) Grube of Donelson, TN. Three Great-Grandchildren; Jonathan Edwards, Eli Alexander, and Rosalie Grube. Two Brothers; John (Dorothy) Whited and Billy (Louise) Whited.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carter are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1PM with Billy Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation with the Carter family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday from 11AM until service time at 1PM.
