Mrs. Thelma Wortham Straub
Mrs. Thelma Wortham Straub, age 71, of Buffalo Valley, TN, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016.
Mrs. Straub was born May 25, 1944, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late, Douglas R. Wortham and Katherine Alice Rader Wortham. She was also preceded in death by Brother; James Reed Wortham. Mrs. Straub married John A. Straub on June 1, 1962. She attended the Buffalo Valley Church of Christ.
Mrs. Straub is survived by Husband of 53 years; John A. Straub, of Buffalo Valley, TN. Daughter; Natalie Ann Straub (Ronnie Dale Swallows), of Buffalo Valley, TN. Grandsons; John Pursley, Jr. and Cougar Pursley. Great-Grandchildren; Beau Pursley, Douglas Pursley, and Cayden Pursley. Several other great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Straub are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1PM with Dennis Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation with the Straub family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday from 4PM until 8PM and again on Tuesday after 10AM until the time of the service at 1PM.
