Mrs. Sara Herald, age 93 of Knoxville, died Friday morning, May 20 at The Pavilion in Carthage. She is survived by: children, Paula Jo Shams and husband Ali of Louisville, KY, Fran Frank and husband Tim of Carthage, Mark Dunn Herald and wife Barbara of Knoxville; sister, Phyllis Smith and husband George of Princeton, WV; 5 grandchildren, Kameron Shams, Jill Frank Ellenbarger and husband Michael, Sara Frank Clark, Shelly King and husband David, Wendy Vance; 6 great-grandchildren, Carolina, Callie, & Chloe Clark, Mackensie Vance, Landon Vance, Julian King.
Mrs. Herald is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Graveside service and Interment will be conducted on Wednesday May 25 at 1:00 PM EST at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville. Bro. Tim Frank will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are: Ali Shams, Kameron Shams, Mark Herald, Michael Ellenbarger, Landon Vance, Julian King, Jeff VanDyke.
The family has requested memorials to Carthage First Baptist Church.
