Mrs. Sandra (Sudie) Thackxton, age 63 of Gordonsville, died Friday morning, July 7 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She is survived by: husband, Gary (George) Thackxton; son, Keith Thackxton and wife Sarah of South Carthage; daughter, Kayla Schroeder of Murfreesboro; 2 sisters, Kathy Angel and husband Billy of Hickman, Martha Phann of Granville; grandchildren, Spencer Reece Thackxton, Alexa Kay Thackxton, Mia Kristine Schoeder, soon-to-be, Charlotte Oaklynn Babcock.
Mrs. Thackxton is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday morning, July 12 at 11:00 AM. Bro. Bill Woodard will officiate. Interment in the Baird Memorial Gardens in Hickman. Serving as pallbearers are: Jamie Angel, Josh Angel, Justin Angel, Brad Law, Cody Babcock, Jonathan Phann.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
