Mrs. Ruth Towns

Mrs. Ruth Towns, age 91, of South Carthage and a longtime resident of the Pleasant Shade community, died Tuesday morning, September 13, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Towns is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted Thursday afternoon, September 15, at 1:00 pm with Eld. Charles Allen Gentry officiating. Interment in the Pleasant Shade Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Junior Dickerson, Allen Dickerson, David Wilson Reed, Sammy Earps, Bill Green, Troy Spivey and Phillip Evitts.

The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel beginning on Thursday from 9:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
