Mrs. Ruth Denney
Mrs. Ruth Denney, age 96 of Lewisburg and long time Carthage resident, died Wednesday afternoon, September 23 at the Villiage Manor in Lewisburg. She is survived by: daughter Jane Denney Kirby and husband Sammy of Lewisburg; son, William Edward Denney of Alworth, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, Tony Kirby and wife Judi of Lewisburg, Todd Kirby and wife Dawn of Lewisburg, Chad Kirby and wife Kellee of Thompson Station, Jeff Denney and wife Amanda of Marietta, Georgia, Kim Jameson and husband Robert of Marietta, Georgia; 11 great-grandchildren, Zach and wife Bailey, Ryan, Aden, Max, Macyn, Mackenzee, Jace Kirby, Bennett, Olivia Denney, Harper Jameson, Cecelia Jameson.
Mrs. Denney is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, September 27, at 2:00 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon. Bro. Tim Frank will officiate.
Visitation will be on Saturday only at Sanderson Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. There will be no visitation on Sunday. Masks are required at visitation and service.
The family has requested memorials to the Carthage First Baptist Church.
