Mrs. Ruby Turner Hale, age 92, of Cowan, TN, and formerly of Carthage, TN, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024.
Mrs. Hale was born November 23, 1931 in the Monroe County, KY community of Bug Tussle, a daughter of the late Radford Hughes Turner and Donnie Clemons Brandon Turner. She was also preceded in death by Siblings; Hazel Schoolcraft, Irene Pitcock, Billy Turner, Bobby Turner, and Joseph Elzie Turner. Mrs. Ruby loved her friends and enjoyed traveling, playing rook, and line dancing.
Mrs. Hale is survived by Children; Terry (Linda) Hale of Gordonsville, TN, June (Craig) Brown of Lafayette, TN, Sandra (Steve) Langley of Harriman, TN, Susan (Randy) Pew of Crossville, TN, and Kimberly (Scott) Tucker of Winchester, TN. Sisters; Pauline King of Bowling Green, KY, and Barbara Taylor of Louisville, KY. Twelve grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be at Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 2PM until 6PM.
Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Hale will be held at 12 noon on September 28, 2024 at the Payne Cemetery on the family farm at 1389 Beech Grove Rd in Lafayette, TN.
