Mrs. Rose Lee Braswell
Mrs. Rose Lee Braswell, age 71 of Brush Creek, TN passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
Mrs. Braswell was born November 13, 1944 in Lancaster, TN, the daughter of the late, Grady & Johnnie Lee Fletcher Moss. Mrs. Braswell and her husband, Jimmy Allison Braswell were married in May of 1989. Also preceding her in death was her son, Kenneth McMillen & a sister, Ruth Dunn. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church & was formerly employed at the Alexandria Shirt Factory.
Mrs. Braswell is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jimmy Braswell of Brush Creek, TN. 3 children, Vickie (Randy) Legge of Lafayette, TN, Missy (Ken) McKay of Alexandria, TN & Jeff (Sharon) Braswell of Gordonsville, TN. Grandchildren, Kendra (Todd) Austin, Erica (Scott) Key, Rob Frazier, Keely McKay, Cody (Jamie) Braswell & Monica Braswell. Great grandchildren, Allie, Avery & Tate Austin, Addison & Noah Key. 5 siblings, Ruby Gibbs, Betty McMillen, Martha Payne, Margaret Jackson & Jim Moss. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Braswell will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11am from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Bro. Ronnie Smith will officiate & burial will follow at Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation with the Braswell family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday, May 27th from 2PM – 8PM & on Saturday from 9AM until the service time at 11AM
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideon’s in memory of Mrs. Braswell.
