Robbie Elizabeth Belcher, age 92, of “The Carroll Community” in Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on a beautiful Sunday afternoon September 28, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1933, in Smith County. She spent her life rooted in the people and place; she loved most.
Robbie was a devoted wife to the late Herbert Belcher and a proud mother to her children. She will be remembered above all for her unwavering love for her family. Her steady presence, gentle wisdom, love of music, dancing and boundless care formed the heart of every gathering and the foundation for those she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents, [Nettie Jane & Haskel Grisham], her beloved husband Herbert, and her siblings [Mai, Oscar, Fred, Myrtle, Mamie, Essie Marie, Helen, Walter James, Alfred, and Willard aka Speedy].
Robbie leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in the hearts of her family: her children, Robbie (Lynn) Ard, Kathy (Danny) Johnson, and Vince (Brandy) Belcher; and her beloved grandchildren, Emily (Steve) Cooley, Rachel (David) Deffendall, Sarah Frye, Maisey (Matt) Leon, Abby Hulse and Maddy Belcher.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Christopher, Connor, Ellie, Eli, Ryan, Cade, Ollie, Emerald, Eleanor, Rowan, and Peyton. She is also fondly remembered by a host of extended family and dear friends who will deeply miss her warm presence, caring heart, full of life personality and steady guidance.
Robbie’s family will forever carry her example of love, faith, family and joy in their hearts, continuing to celebrate the countless good times shared with her.
A funeral service will be held at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Pallbearers will be Christopher Cooley, Connor Jones, Eli Deffendall, Matt Leon, David Deffendall, Steve Cooley, Randy Hulse and Mike Hall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ollie Leon, Rowan Leon, Elliott Hall and Levi Hall .
Visitation will be held from Wednesday 10/1/25 @ 5-7 pm and Thursday 10/2/25 10-11 at Sellars Funeral Home, 313 West Baddour Parkway, Lebanon, TN.
Service at Sellars Thursday 10/2/25 @ 11
Graveside burial will follow at Chapman Cemetery.
