Mrs. Peggy Reece, age 72 of Hartsville, died Wednesday morning, February 22 at her sister’s home in Castalian Springs. She is survived by: 2 sons, Ricky Reece Sr. and wife Carol of Hartsville, Steven Lee Reece of Hartsville; 4 sisters, Debra Labee of Castalian Springs, Thelma Sadler of Gallatin, Yvonne Smith of Lebanon, Hazel Bayer of Atlanta, Georgia; 2 brothers, Ronnie Burton and wife Shelby of Gordonsville, Tony Burton and wife Christine of Hartsville; 4 grandchildren, Helga Gammons and husband Matthew, Ricky Reece Jr, Christy Reece, Carlton Reece; 6 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reece is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Family and Friends will gather at Dixon Springs Cemetery for a Graveside Service and Interment at 3:00 PM on Thursday afternoon, February 23. Active pallbearers will be: Ronnie Reece, Gary Reece, Randy Reece, Rusty Burton, Gary Smith, and Roger Smith. There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the service.
