Mrs. Peggy Cothron Taylor, age 77 of Riddleton, died Friday morning, June 10 at Tri-Star Centennial in Nashville. She is survived by: husband, Wayne Taylor; daughters, Melanie Powell and husband Jeff of Lebanon, Daphne McCall and husband Chris of Riddleton; son, Kent Taylor and wife Lisa of Riddleton; 8 grandchildren, Mia Gregory and husband Daniel, Taylor McCall and wife Ashley, Merritt Burdge and husband Harrison, Colby McCall, Callie Taylor, Adam Powell, Coeburn Powell, Maggie Taylor; 5 great-grandchildren, Reese Gregory, Brooks Burdge, Reed Burdge, Eden Smith, Eilem Smith; sister, Betty Jean Taylor of Lebanon; great-aunt, Alice White of Hartsville.
Mrs. Taylor services were held Sunday afternoon at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home on June 12 at 3:00 PM. Eld. Carter Robinson and Dr. William York will officiated. Interment was at the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Taylor McCall, Colby McCall, Adam Powell, Daniel Gregory, Harrison Burdge, Jalyn Lankford, Trey Brimm.
The family has requested memorials to: Smith County Humane Society or Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital.
