Mrs. Melba Virginia Morris, age 76, of Carthage, TN, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Mrs. Morris was born June 3, 1948 in Chestnut Mound, TN, a daughter of the late Hugh Lee Blair and Ogel Pool Blair. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Paul Morris; son: Jefferson Davis Elrdo and a brother, Eddie Dean “Cheezo” Blair. She loved to see the countryside while riding down the roads.
Mrs. Morris is survived by Daughters; Shirley Elrod of Carthage, TN, and Shelia Dodd of Watertown, TN. Siblings; Reba Fields, Carolyn Sircy, Robert Blair, Mack Blair, Ronnie Blair, Johnny Blair, Penny Blair, Mai Nell Bennett, and Roger Blair. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Morris family request memorial donations in her memory be made to Dickens Cemetery Mowing Fund or to Bass Funeral Home.
