Mrs. Melba Rich
Mrs. Melba Rich, age 79, of Pleasant Shade, died Saturday evening, April 18, 2020, at her home.
She is survived by: husband of 63 years, Joe Rich; 4 children, Arnold Rich and wife Debbie of Pleasant Shade, Jerry Rich and wife Becky of Pleasant Shade, Jackie Rich and wife Sherry of Red Boiling Springs, Jocella Halliburton and husband Todd of Pleasant Shade; sister, Ruby Thompson of Lafayette; brother, Roy Brooks of Russell Hill; 9 grandchildren, Amy Leigh Rogers and husband Ryan, JoBeth McCoy and husband Dustin, Jeri Lynn Rich, Hannah Denson and husband Jason, Taylor Rich and wife Tricia, SueAnn Kidwell and husband Matthew, Victoria Rich, Leah Rich, Isaac Rich; like-a-grandchild, Elizabeth Halliburton; 5 great-grandchildren, Lindsay Denson, Jake Denson, Janie Mai Rogers, Jett Denson, Colin McCoy; sisters-in-law, Bessie Brooks and husband Pal of Ashland City, Melba Joy Rich Pace and husband Andy of Ruston, LA; brothers-in-law, David Turney Rich and wife Almanette of Pleasant Shade, Gerald Lee Rich and wife Ronda of Pleasant Shade, James Bell Rich of Mt. Juliet, Jessie Adams of Winston-Salem, NC; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rich is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. A Private Graveside Service will be conducted on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Pleasant Shade Cemetery. Eld. Scott Rigsby and Eld. Gerald Ragland will officiate.
The family has requested memorials to the Pleasant Shade Upper Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
