Mrs. Maxine Holliman, age 92 of Defeated Creek, died Saturday morning, May 6 at the Pavilion in South Carthage. She is survived by: two sons, Gary Holliman and wife Patricia, their children, Julie Roper and Jennifer Austin and Jennifer’s children, Tyler and Lauren Austin, all of Jasper, Georgia; Randy Holliman and wife Shelby of Tanglewood, their sons, Lee Holliman of Tanglewood and Sam Holliman and wife Abigail and their son Julian of Defeated Creek.
Mrs. Holliman is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Wednesday morning, May 10 at 11:00 AM. Eld. Shawn Shepherd will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Lee Holliman, Sam Holliman, Matthew Harpe, Hughie Gregory, Lonnie Swann, Lance Anderson.
Visitation begins on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
The family has requested memorials to Cornwells Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
