Mrs. Mary Lou Smith, age 84 of Carthage died Tuesday, July 25 at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter Debra Courtney and husband Benny of Carthage, and son Travis Smith and wife, Betty of Rawls Creek, Grandson Matt Smith and wife Vanessa of Hogans Creek, Great Grand Children Bella Smith Jackson, Reagan Smith and Lincoln Smith .
Mrs. Smith is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Her service will be conducted Friday morning, July 28, at 11:00 AM at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Eld. Joey Gregory and Bro. Harold Halliburton. Burial will follow at Patterson Cemetery in the Russell Hill Community. Active pallbearers: Brian Smith, Randy Mundy, Ricky Hale and Mickey Hale.
The family will receive friends at the Chapel beginning on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
