Mrs. Mary Carter, age 84, of Tanglewood, died Tuesday afternoon, September 29, at Quality Health Care in Lebanon. She is survived by: sons, Jeff Carter and wife Kristie of Tanglewood, Jimmy Carter and wife Denise of Tanglewood; 4 grandchildren, Zac Carter, Taylor Carter, Angela Williamson and husband Marcus, Brad Poston and wife Toni; 3 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Carter is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Thursday morning, October 1, at 11:00 AM. Eld. Ronnie Harrison and Eld. Chase Johnson will officiate. Interment in the Kemp Family Cemetery with Eld. Kevin Graham officiating.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 30, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1, from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

The family has requested memorials to Defeated Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
