Mrs. Margaret Rilda Stewart age 94, of Lebanon, TN, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Quality Health Care in Lebanon, TN.
Mrs. Stewart was born April 7, 1921 in Pulaski, KY, the Daughter of the late Hairm Middleton and Dora Kirk. She married John R. “J.R.” Stewart, Jr. and he preceded her in death on September 19, 1970. Mrs. Stewart was also preceded by Two Daughters; Edna Stewart Baker and Barbara Faye Stewart. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by Grandchildren; Johnny (Leanne) Baker of Murfreesboro, TN, Barbara Dawn Baker of Lebanon, TN, and Jill Stewart of Houston, TX. Four Great-Grandchildren; Lauren Baker, Trey Baker, Morgan Strickland, and Megan Strickland.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Stewart are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Friday, June 20, 2015 at 11AM. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation with the Stewart family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Thursday June 19th from 4PM until 8PM and again on Friday June 20th from 9AM until the time of the service at 11AM.
