Mrs. Lillian Sexton
Mrs. Lillian Sexton, age 89 of South Carthage, died Friday evening, March 20, 2020, at Smith County Health and Rehab.
She is survived by: 3 daughters, Linda Baker of Club Springs, Betty Brown and husband Jimmy of Horseshoe Bend, Patsy Sexton of South Carthage; son, William Sexton and wife Cindy of Carr Ridge in Putnam County; sister, Ellen Lockhart of Michigan; brother, James Whitehead of Fairview; sister-in-law, Martha Whitehead of Cookeville; 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sexton is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Monday afternoon, March 23 at 3:00 PM. Eld. Kenny Hensley and Eld. Chris White will officiate. Interment in the Chestnut Mound Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers are: Dale Williams, Charlie Chaffin, Stephen Brown, David Sexton, Phillip Tharp, Jay Boswell, Joe Owens, Matthew Grisham; Honorary pallbearers are: Bill Tomlinson, Jacob Kuykendall, John Owens.
Visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to: Jared Missionary Baptist Church, Smith County Health Care Activity Department, or Alzheimers TN.
