Mrs. Lena Winfree
Mrs. Lena Winfree, age 54, of South Carthage, died Friday morning, June 22, at St. Thomas West in Nashville. She is survived by: husband, Tommy Winfree; mother, Ann Gregory; daughter, Tashia Smiesak and husband Justin of Grand Rapids, Michigan; son, Scott Winfree and wife Shellie of Alexandria; siblings, Gary Gregory of Lebanon, Shane Gregory of Lafayette, Jeff Gregory and wife Angela of Lafayette; 6 grandchildren, Justin Blair, Parker, Bryson and Logan Winfree, Mason and Aidan Smiesak; step-daughter, Patty Ellis and husband Jamie.
Mrs. Winfree is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM. Bro. Jimmy Gregory will officiate. As requested, she will be cremated at Cumberland Family Services.
Visitation will be on Sunday only from Noon until service time at 3:00 PM.
The family has requested no flowers but memorials to assist with funeral expenses or the Smith County Cancer Fund.
