Mrs. Katherine Shores, age 80 of Carthage, died Wednesday afternoon, July 20 at Smith County Health and Rehab. Mrs. Shores is survived by: children, Malinda Speck and husband Scott of South Carthage, Stephen Shores of Murfreesboro; siblings, Wayne Watson and wife Glynda of Bell Buckle, Gayland Watson of Woodbury, Carey Watson and wife Lorie of Liberty; 2 grandsons, Kyle Speck and wife Bethany of Lebanon, Kevin Speck and wife Blair of Lebanon; 4 great-grandchildren, Nolen Speck, Nathan Speck, Hensley Speck, Landrie Speck.
The Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home conducted Mrs. Shores services on Saturday afternoon, July 30 at 1:00 PM. Eld. Anthony Dixon will officiate. Entombment in the Roseland Cemetery in Murfreesboro at 3:00 PM.
