Mrs. June Oakley Lancaster

Mrs. June Oakley Lancaster, age 91, of Gordonsville, TN, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Mrs. Lancaster was born June 22, 1935 in Dekalb County, TN daughter of the late Burse Oakley and Wilma Corley Oakley. She graduated from Watertown High School. She married David L. Lancaster on November 25, 1953. She attended the Gordonsville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband David L. Lancaster on August 1, 2018 and a granddaughter; Dacey Nakia Sircy.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by three Daughters; Theresa (Ricky) Sircy of Gordonsville, TN, Danice (Gary) Whittemore of Gordonsville, TN, and Yvonne (Kerry) Gibbs of Gordonsville, TN. Seven Grandchildren; Keonna Wade, Kachina (Stanley) Claywell, Christy (John) Christy, Valyn (Robert) Payne, Korinne Hill, Shanna Gibbs, and Andrew (Monique) Gibbs. fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; Sister-in-laws; Anita (Kenneth) Apple of New Middleton, TN, and Sue Richardson of Cookeville, TN.

Visitation with the Lancaster Family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 2:30 PM until 4:30PM. Family and friends will gather for Interment in the Gordonsville Cemetery at 5PM..
