Mrs. Judy Spivey
Mrs. Judy Spivey, age 72, of Pleasant Shade, died Tuesday evening, June 27, at Kindred Health Care. She is survived by: husband of 51 years, Troy Spivey; daughter, Emily Sterling and husband Aaron of Gordonsville; 2 sisters, Teresa Bane and husband Howard of Carthage, Paula Evitts Hackett and husband Ricky of Pleasant Shade; 2 brothers, Steve Evitts and wife Kay of Cookeville, Phillip Evitts and wife Darlene of Pleasant Shade; 3 grandchildren, Teddy Spivey and his mother Cathy Rutherford Spivey of Carthage, Owen and Liam Sterling of Gordonsville.
Mrs. Spivey is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Friday afternoon, June 30, at 1:00 PM. Eld. Ricky Hackett will officiate. Interment in the Pleasant Shade Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Joey Evitts, Patrick Hackett, Jeff Shoulders, Jason Evitts, Sandy Taylor, Josh Shoulders, Billy Spivey and Rick Spivey.
Visitation will begin on Thursday at noon until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Pleasant Shade Cemetery Mowing Fund or the Jamie Evitts Scholarship Fund.
