Mrs. Joyce Parkerson, age 81 of Lancaster, died Wednesday afternoon, September 30 at St. Thomas Rutherford. She is survived by: husband, Billy Parkerson; daughter, Jolonda Swafford of Mt Juliet and Kevin Cassetty of Red Boiling Springs; 2 grandchildren, Carla Moore of Lebanon and Clifton Swafford of Lebanon; sister, Erma Williams of Hickman; 2 great-grandchildren, Jayden Moore and Tyelar Swafford.

Mrs. Parkerson is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, October 4 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Seth London will officiate. Interment in the Gordonsville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Austin Craig, Brian Hughes, Dustin Honeycutt, Danny Cook, Preston London, Steve Key.

Visitation will begin on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
