Mrs. Joyce Kemp, age 80 of Sullivans Bend, died Friday afternoon, January 15 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She is survived by: children, Debbie Kemp Whitener of Carthage, Jeffery Kemp of Sullivans Bend; sister, Linda Williams and husband Roger of Monoville; brother, Jimmy Bennett and wife Brenda of Lebanon; 5 grandchildren, Brian Hackett and wife Melissa, Phillip Hackett and wife Stacey, Drew Kemp and wife Shelby, Samantha Tyree and husband Jon, Demi Kemp; 9 great-grandchildren, Brannan, Connor, Kendra, Presley, Elijah, Payton, Cooper, Kyndal and Ella.
Mrs. Kemp is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, January 19 at 3:00 PM at Boulton Cemetery in Sullivans Bend. Bro. Wallace Caldwell and Eld. Joe West will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are: Drew Kemp, Phillip Hackett, Brian Hackett, Jon Tyree, Tony Grisham, Brannan Hackett, Conner Hackett, Jimmy Bennett. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Jellicorse, Elijah Tyree, Cooper Kemp, Tim Leftis.
Visitation will be after the graveside service at the cemetery.
The family has requested memorials to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
