Mrs. Joyce Anne Williams
Mrs. Joyce Anne Williams, age 70, of South Carthage, TN, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the St. Thomas West Hospital.
Mrs. Joyce was born April 4, 1945 in Smith County, TN, the daughter of the late Coy Dishman and Agnes Dennis Dishman. She married Carl Edward Williams on December 24, 1965 and he preceded her in death August 13, 2013. She was also preceded in death by Sister; Peggy Fields on April 10, 2013. Joyce was a 1963 graduate of Smith County High School. She worked at the Carthage Shirt Factory and later retired from Meritor.
Mrs. Williams is survived by Daughter; Carla Ray of Gordonsville, TN. Granddaughter; Kendra Nicole (Reece) Enoch of Gordonsville, TN. Sister; Charlotte (Dean) Grisham of Carthage, TN, and Beloved Granddog; Cartwright.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Williams are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 3PM with Eld. Charles Allen Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Visitation with the Williams family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday from 11AM until 8PM and again on Wednesday from 9AM until the time of the service at 3PM.
