Mrs. Joan Brandt, age 88 of the Rome Community, died Thursday evening, January 29 at her home.  She is survived by: daughter, Julie Ann Brand and husband Bill of the Rome Community; son, Jefferey Allen Brandt of Paxton, Illinois; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brandt will be cremated at Cumberland Family Services.  No formal services are planned at this time.
