Mrs. Jean Kemp Holland, age 92 of Defeated Creek, died Thursday morning, July 24 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. She is survived by: son, Jeff Kemp and wife Teresa of Little Salt Lick; sister, Pat Kittrell Bush of Defeated Creek; 5 grandchildren, Amy Brodie of Defeated Creek, Dustin Kemp and wife Kristen of Lebanon, James Kemp III and wife Anita of Gallatin, Jeanette Shanks and husband Jason of Silver Point, Kayla Keaton and husband Dusty of Sykes; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Holland is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Saturday morning, July 26 at 11:00 AM. Eld. Charles Patterson will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Ethan Claridy, Dusty Keaton, Jordan Key, Grayson Kemp, Nolan Kemp, Leslie Bush.
Visitation at the Carthage Chapel will begin on Friday morning from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
